The place to see and be seen on Saturday afternoon in the Bay Area was Santa Clara, where the San Francisco 49ers were hosting their first-ever playoff game in Levi's Stadium.

The Niners haven't been in the playoffs since 2013, and an array of San Francisco legends and California celebs came to celebrate the end of the long drought. As you might expect, quarterback Joe Montana, wide receiver Jerry Rice and even Giants slugger Barry Bonds were in attendance. But beyond San Francisco sports, there were other celeb sightings, including actor Dave Franco (he grew up in Palo Alto), UFC star Nate Diaz (of Stockton) and YouTuber Ryan Higa (from Hawaii, but a huge 49ers fan).

One diehard San Francisco sports fan who couldn't make it was Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford. Crawford — who grew up in Pleasanton — and wife Jalynne are currently enjoying a family vacation in Germany, so they posted a photo in 49ers gear on social media to celebrate instead. Crawford also included a sweet photo of himself as a boy, wearing a 49ers sweatshirt paired with a collared shirt. It is a great look.
